Exchange Event with US Students from Southern Utah University
Students from Southern Utah University in the US, came to Matsue Campus as part of their study abroad program to learn about family, diet and lifestyle in Japan. The exchange event was held on May 14, 2014 with 14 students and faculty from the US and our first year English majors.
- Time for introductions and questions
First we split into small groups for getting to know each other better. We all prepared questions and topics to talk about.
- Activities in the Gymnasium
Students concentrated on playing Kendama, a traditional game of hand-eye coordination.
The American game of “Duck, Duck, Goose” is quite similar to the Japanese game “Drop the Handkerchief”.
- Sports event
We played dodgeball to finish up the exchange event. We played hard and had a great time.
Thank you for this fun time together!
